LONGi Selected for S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025

The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), a globally respected ESG evaluation tool with a 26-year track record, informs over 200 indices published by S&P Dow Jones Indices. It’s a vital resource for institutional investors managing $35 trillion in assets. Annual CSA scores determine eligibility for the Sustainability Yearbook. For the 2025 China Edition, 164 Chinese companies were chosen from over 1,600 assessed in the 2024 CSA.

In 2024, LONGi strengthened its ESG practices, achieving several sustainability goals ahead of schedule. The company made significant strides in decarbonization and resource efficiency. Green electricity usage rose to 47.5%, cutting approximately 2.5467 million tons of carbon emissions. Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions fell by 37% compared to 2023, while scope 3 emissions decreased by 26%. Electricity consumption per production unit also decreased significantly from 2020, meeting targets. Furthermore, LONGi achieved new environmental milestones, investing 370 million yuan in environmental protection, maintaining zero environmental violations, and securing ISO 14001 certification for all operating bases. Five production bases passed clean production audits, and the Jiaxing factory obtained “zero-carbon factory” certification after WEF Lighthouse Factory certification. In 2024, LONGi’s silicon wafers, modules, and hydrogen energy products received 53 carbon footprint certifications globally, covering France, South Korea, and the international EPD system. These accomplishments highlight LONGi’s environmental commitment and establish a new standard for green transformation in the global photovoltaic industry.

LONGi is dedicated to providing affordable, clean energy, guided by its vision of “making the best of solar energy to build a green world.” The company aligns its development strategy with the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, striving for clean, renewable, and efficient energy use and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure everyone has access to affordable clean energy.
