(SeaPRwire) – SAN FRANCISCO, March 20, 2026 — NeutronX Corporation (“NeutronX”), a company focused on integrating artificial intelligence with energy infrastructure, has announced that Scott Mauvais, formerly the Senior Director of AI and Global Partnerships for Microsoft Philanthropies and the Director of Microsoft Cities at Microsoft, has joined the company. Mauvais will support the ongoing development of NeutronX’s collaboration with NextNRG Inc. (NASDAQ: NXXT). NeutronX and NextNRG initially announced a memorandum of understanding on February 9, 2026, followed by an exclusive definitive cooperation agreement on February 25, 2026, effective February 18, 2026, which centers on federal energy infrastructure projects.
Mauvais brings 23 years of experience from Microsoft, where he held leadership positions in areas including artificial intelligence, civic innovation, urban systems, enterprise engagement, and strategic partnerships. In his most recent role as Senior Director of AI and Global Partnerships for Microsoft Philanthropies, he collaborated with Microsoft’s major clients and partners to identify and jointly invest in initiatives with social impact, contributing to the fundraising of over $120 million in philanthropic funds.
Throughout his tenure at Microsoft, Mauvais played a key role in the transition of advanced technologies from conceptualization to practical implementation within complex institutional and urban settings. At NeutronX, Mauvais will contribute to the company’s efforts with NextNRG in areas such as AI-driven energy grid modernization, the deployment of resilient microgrids, the integration of intelligent infrastructure in urban environments, and public-private engagement with municipal and federal stakeholders. Under the terms of the definitive agreement, NextNRG will serve as the exclusive technology and execution partner for government contracts obtained by NeutronX in specific federal energy and defense infrastructure projects.
“Scott possesses a unique blend of expertise in AI, cities, partnerships, and applied infrastructure innovation,” stated Emilio T.
