
SHANGHAI, Nov. 30, 2025 — On November 26, a significant Grade 5 fire swept through multiple residential buildings in Wang Fuk Court, Tai Po, Hong Kong. This severe incident resulted in considerable casualties and garnered widespread public attention. In response, Qiming Venture Partners announced a donation of HK$3 million on November 28 to the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court Aid Fund, established by the Hong Kong SAR Government, to assist affected residents and support the area’s reconstruction efforts.
The Hong Kong SAR Government initiated the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court Aid Fund on November 27, commencing with an initial allocation of HK$300 million. The fund’s objective is to coordinate social resources and provide comprehensive rescue and recovery support. It also welcomes public donations, aiming to consolidate broad community support for effective aid distribution. Qiming Venture Partners promptly contributed with this donation, thereby helping those impacted while fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities.
