A primary attraction was the preview of Queclink’s forthcoming V16 smart emergency light, a connected device engineered to improve road safety. The V16, which is currently being tested in specific pilot programs, uses IoT connectivity to send real-time alerts about vehicle emergencies, which is in line with Spain’s 2026 requirement for connected emergency beacons. Even though it hasn’t been formally launched yet, its presentation at MWC showed its potential to revolutionize roadside assistance and traffic safety.

Queclink also presented its long-lasting, solar-powered asset tracking solutions, which are made to be sustainable and can run for up to ten years without needing maintenance. As Spain increases its smart city projects, these innovations help to optimize energy consumption, cut emissions, and monitor cities in real time.

The WR310, a 5G industrial router created for fast, low-latency communication in manufacturing, automation, and smart grid applications, was another significant product introduction. The WR310 uses 5G SA/NSA technology, Wi-Fi 6, dual SIM capability, and a wide array of industrial interfaces to connect older systems with cutting-edge connectivity, enabling smooth automation and real-time data sharing.

Participants in Queclink’s workshop examined the function of 5G and IoT in promoting Spain’s digital transformation in industries like logistics, telemedicine, and smart utilities. The conversations highlighted the rising need for adaptable, efficient IoT solutions and Queclink’s contribution to this transition.

According to Alfredo Cabañas, Business Development Manager for Spain at Queclink and the workshop’s host, “The future of smart cities and industrial automation relies on dependable, intelligent IoT solutions.” “We demonstrated at MWC 2025 how our innovations improve safety, sustainability, and efficiency through connectivity.”
