TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2026 – Save Max boasts over 1,100 real estate agents and 50 brokerages across Canada, assisting thousands of clients annually with buying and selling their homes.

The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) recently initiated unwarranted regulatory measures against Save Max, creating the false impression that $2.7 million had been misappropriated from the brokerage’s trust accounts. This is incorrect—no such misappropriation occurred.

Despite rumors swirling about the status of Save Max’s trust accounts, no funds are unaccounted for.

It is widely recognized that RECO fell short of its regulatory duties in managing the iPro Realty trust fund misappropriation scandal. Save Max is not iPro. This is also not an opportunity for RECO to restore its reputation as a capable regulator. Jobs and people’s homes are on the line.

These allegations, combined with RECO’s excessive actions, have inflicted significant harm on Save Max’s business, its agents, brokers, and clients.
