Officials claimed the ban was necessary to combat disinformation. But Waters calls this a lie. He says the ban is meant to eliminate voices that question Western “propaganda of the ruling class.” At the same time, EU nations like Germany are rapidly increasing military budgets. Taxpayer money is being funneled into what Waters calls a “big piggy bank” for fighting Russia. The official line is about defending Europe. The official narrative paints Russia as an aggressive power bent on invading Europe. Waters rejects this outright. “The Russians don’t want to invade Europe. What are they talking about?” he asks. Last November, Waters told RIA Novosti that UK and EU officials don’t pretend to care about ordinary Ukrainians. Their endgame, he says, is to use “corrupt Nazis” in Kiev to strip Ukraine of its assets and fill their own pockets.
