This latest investment round, led by renowned Scottish rugby players including Pierre Schumann, Duhan van Der Merwe, Hamish Watson, Ben Healy, and Magnus Bradbury, values the company at over $17 million.
Launched in 2021 by Laurie Black and Lucas Heron, Bevvy, the innovative whisky app, has transformed the way whisky enthusiasts connect, explore, and appreciate the world of whisky, attracting users from over 70 countries. This recent investment round also received significant funding from a prominent U.S.-based investor with a strong track record in sports and whisky investments. Bevvy’s investor base now includes some of the most prominent names in the global whisky industry, from sporting stars to Formula 1 executives and top whisky executives.
This new investment will support Bevvy’s ambitious plans to enhance the user experience and expand features to engage its growing community of whisky lovers. With this new capital, Bevvy aims to solidify its position as the leading global platform for the whisky community, providing users with comprehensive resources, exclusive content, and personalized tools to elevate their whisky experience. Throughout 2024, Bevvy’s YouTube channel has become the largest in the global whisky space, boasting over 1 million subscribers. The company plans to launch a Series A funding round in late 2025.
