HONG KONG, June 3, 2025 — MASSPHOTON LIMITED, a global leader in gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductor devices and digital disinfection technologies, has partnered with Sino Inno Lab to implement its advanced NitroSteriX digital air sterilization system at China Hong Kong City (CHKC). Operated by Sino Group and situated in Tsim Sha Tsui, CHKC is now experiencing significantly improved indoor air quality, establishing a new standard for healthier and smarter commercial environments in Hong Kong.

Given its tens of thousands of daily visitors, CHKC recognized the need for a strong and adaptable air quality solution for its busy public areas. Traditional purification techniques were inadequate for the complex requirements of such locations. As a result, MASSPHOTON was chosen to install a cutting-edge, technology-driven system.

MASSPHOTON installed its ceiling-mounted UVC-LED air sterilizers (models Q6060B1 and Q6060D), which are powered by the company’s patented NitroSteriX digital disinfection technology. Unlike conventional systems, NitroSteriX provides proactive, digitally managed sterilization using high-performance UVC LEDs, advanced optics, and IoT-driven intelligent controls. The system is ozone-free, energy-efficient, and safe for continuous use in occupied spaces.

Air quality monitoring revealed substantial improvements within 24 hours of setup. In some locations, formaldehyde (HCHO) levels decreased from 1060 μg/m³ to as low as 40 μg/m³—a 96% reduction—while total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) dropped from 1090 μg/m³ to approximately 190 μg/m³, an 83% decrease. The system also maintained low PM2.5, HCHO, and TVOC levels despite the dynamic commercial environment, consistently surpassing the most rigorous professional air quality standards.
