Most people see this as just another trade show product launch. It is not. SuperX is not in Tokyo just to show off new gear. It is here to lock down the Japanese AI infrastructure market. I chatted with a Tokyo data center builder last week. He told me local vendors can’t meet current full-stack AIDC demand.

Official release facts for the first half: SuperX will introduce 1.6T optical modules at Interop Tokyo 2026, held June 10 to 12. It will also showcase full-stack solutions spanning AI compute, modular AI factory, and digital power. The 1.6T module uses full DSP architecture and silicon photonics integration. It works across both Ethernet and InfiniBand AI infrastructures. SuperX already runs a Global Supply Center in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture. The center has annual capacity for 20,000 AI servers. The industry subtext here is clear. SuperX built local production capacity before pushing products. Most foreign vendors ship from overseas. They cannot deliver fast enough for Japan’s booming AI buildout.

Official release facts for the second half: SuperX’s full portfolio includes NVIDIA-powered AI servers for all AI workloads. Its modular AI factory cuts deployment time to just 6 to 9 months. It supports scalable expansion from a 2.5MW initial pod to an 80MW computing campus. Its 800V DC power architecture cuts power loss for high-density AI infrastructure. The company runs a localized spare parts network across Japan. Attendees can check its full lineup at Booth 7N26. The industry subtext here is equally plain. SuperX bundles everything customers need to build an AI data center from scratch. Clients no longer need to piece gear together from five different vendors. They no longer wait months for imported components. Japanese enterprises and cloud providers are starved for this turnkey option.

Local Japanese AIDC vendors lack full-stack end-to-end capability right now. Large global players have dragged their feet on local production. SuperX will capture 15 to 20 percent of Japan’s new AIDC market within 18 months.
