TORONTO, Dec. 31, 2025 – Tim Hortons has unveiled the most popular menu items among Canadians over the past year, highlighting what customers nationwide ordered most frequently.
Throughout 2025, the Apple Fritter was the leading donut choice, while Chocolate Glazed emerged as the favourite Timbits® flavour. The classic Double Double® coffee was the most frequently ordered hot drink, and the iconic Iced Capp led cold beverage sales.
New for 2025:
The past year featured significant food and beverage innovations at Tim Hortons, such as the introduction of scrambled eggs made from fresh, cracked eggs in February, the Supreme Stack lunch and dinner sandwich in June, and new hot and iced protein drinks and Chai Lattes in August.
The following cities showed the strongest enthusiasm for these new menu items:
- Richmond, British Columbia, had the highest number of orders for the Loaded Breakfast Box featuring scrambled eggs.
- Sherwood Park, Alberta, placed the most orders for the Supreme Stack sandwich.
- Surrey, British Columbia, led the country in ordering Tim Hortons protein beverages.
- Markham, Ontario, surpassed all other cities in orders for the new hot and iced Chai Lattes.
Additional highlights from the year include:
- Prince Edward Island recorded the most significant percentage increase in Tims Rewards
membership growth year-over-year.
- An order for four coffees was the most popular Tims Delivery request of the year.
- The collectible Black Cat ceramic mug, known for its heat-activated design, was the top-selling merchandise item.
- Thanks to the remarkable generosity of Canadians, Tim Hortons’ charitable initiatives, including Special Olympics Donut, Smile Cookie, Camp Day, Orange Sprinkle Donut, and Holiday Smile Cookie, raised over $50 million in 2025.
“We take great pride in the fact that Tim Hortons restaurant owners continue to uphold the mission established by our founder, Tim Horton, for his first location: to create a welcoming place for everyone, at any time,” said Axel Schwan, President of Tim Hortons. “We are grateful to be a part of so many Canadians’ daily lives and special occasions.”
