ANAHEIM, Calif., May 15, 2025 — The celebration of seven decades of the Happiest Place on Earth starts tomorrow, May 16, 2025, and will run for a limited time. Festivities will be held throughout the resort. Guests are invited to “celebrate happy” with new shows, vibrant decorations, special food and drinks, souvenirs, and more. The fun begins before the resort’s official anniversary on July 17.

The Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary celebration’s entertainment lineup will encourage guests to sing and dance. The “Paint the Night” parade returns to Disneyland Park with over a million LED lights. Disney California Adventure Park will host the premiere of “World of Color Happiness!”, a brand-new nighttime show inspired by Walt Disney’s opening day dedication: “To all who come to this happy place… welcome!” Other entertainment highlights include the return of the daytime parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!”, and the nighttime show, “Wondrous Journeys.”

The entire resort will be adorned with decorations in striking blue, magenta, and purple hues, accented with gold. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and some of their friends will be sporting new, colorful outfits for the occasion. More than 70 new themed food and beverage options will be available during the celebration. Several merchandise collections will be released, offering something for every age and taste.
