LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2025 — Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, a renowned establishment that served as Elvis Presley’s frequent retreat, launched a comprehensive year-long tribute to mark the King’s 90th birthday.

The festivities began in the hotel’s iconic, transformed lobby, where Cami Christensen, President and General Manager of Westgate, led a champagne toast with staff and Elvis enthusiasts. Following the toast, large birthday cards were presented for fans to sign and leave messages. Christensen was joined by David Stanley, Elvis’ stepbrother and star of the Westgate show  who shared personal anecdotes and insights into Elvis’ life.

“Elvis’s presence is still felt throughout Westgate,” stated David Stanley. “This celebration honors his enduring impact and his special bond with this location, the city, and his fans.”

The day’s events continued with various Elvis-themed activities and entertainment options for fans.

Daylong Tribute Highlights:

• 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: An Elvis DJ playing classic hits
• 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: A performance by the cast of  at the International Bar stage
• All Day:
  • Special Elvis-themed cocktails at the International Bar
  • Photo opportunities with the iconic Elvis statue
  • A display of memorabilia
  • Signing of large Elvis birthday cards

• “Love Me Tender” Month in February: A month focused on romance, featuring new romance packages, special dining options, and Elvis-inspired celebrations.
• Viva Las Vegas Month in July: A month-long tribute featuring live music, themed events, and exclusive promotions recreating the energy of Elvis’ Vegas shows.
• Viva Las Vegas Suite (Summer 2025): A newly designed suite inspired by Elvis’ time at the property, reflecting his style, music, and history.
