Rubio’s spouse, Jeanette, along with their son, Anthony, were also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the secretary informed the families that would solely be achieved when all the hostages returned home, as per the press release.

He also observed that the U.S. government has already shown its capacity to spearhead major undertakings in the Middle East. He additionally contended that Israel has secured triumphs in Iran and Lebanon and possesses the ability to vanquish Hamas.

The families emphasized that this represents a crucial window of opportunity to bring the remaining hostages home in one comprehensive deal, rather than in phases or partial agreements as has been the situation in with Hamas, the press release conveyed.

They communicated their confidence in the Trump administration to proceed with urgency and resolve to liberate the remaining individuals in Hamas’ captivity.

“We have waited for too long,” the families stated. “It is time to make courageous decisions and bring all our loved ones back—all at the same time.”
