(AsiaGameHub) – The Pennsylvania Lottery has reported that a winning ticket valued at $1.5 million was sold by one of its retailers. According to the announcement, the fortunate ticket was purchased at a women’s hospital located in Pittsburgh.
The Ticket Was Sold at a Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh
Officials stated that the lucky winner from Allegheny County acquired their ticket at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital on 300 Halket St. in Pittsburgh. Under lottery policy, the retailer will be awarded a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The lottery further noted that the unidentified player selected a Cash Spectacular scratch-off game. Cash Spectacular is a $30 game offering prizes up to $1.5 million. The winner secured one of the game’s highest-tier awards.
Currently, eight of the game’s $1.5 million top prizes remain unclaimed. Furthermore, three secondary prizes of $150,000 are also still available to be won.
Official Pennsylvania Lottery statistics indicate the overall odds of winning any prize in the Cash Spectacular game, including prizes equal to the ticket cost, are 1 in 3.57.
PGCB Fined BetMGM
In separate Pennsylvania gaming news, the state regulator, the PGCB, recently imposed a fine on BetMGM for inadequate know-your-customer protocols on its betting platforms. These weak controls allowed fraudsters to use the platform with fraudulent accounts and illegal money.
The PGCB also added 16 individuals to the state’s involuntary exclusion list. Four of those people were prohibited from gambling after they entered casinos while their children were left alone in the parking lots.
Leaving children unsupervised is a serious violation in Pennsylvania due to the substantial dangers involved.
