(AsiaGameHub) – Two significant Powerball prizes were claimed following yesterday’s drawing, with a Florida ticket holder securing $1 million and a Massachusetts player winning $2 million. Meanwhile, the game’s grand prize rolled over again, climbing to $166 million for the upcoming Saturday draw.
Two New Millionaires Forged by Powerball
As noted, Powerball has produced two more second-tier $1 million winners from Florida and Massachusetts, who correctly matched all five white ball numbers. The winning combination was 7, 21, 55, 56, and 64, with the red Powerball number 26.
The Florida Match 5 winner receives $1 million, while the Massachusetts winner’s prize is doubled to $2 million due to the Power Play add-on.
Regarding Power Play, the multiplier was 4x for the Wednesday drawing. Consequently, two of the five tickets that matched four white balls plus the Powerball won $200,000, up from the standard $50,000. The other three such winners will collect $50,000 each.
During that draw, the jackpot was $148 million, with a cash value of $66.9 million. Having gone unclaimed, it has now grown to $166 million, with a cash option of $75.2 million.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for this Saturday.
Mega Millions Players Won Big
Separately, Mega Millions recently awarded a $2 million prize in California and a $3 million prize in New Jersey. This follows shortly after the first Mega Millions jackpot of 2026, a massive $536 million, was won by an Illinois player known as “Lucky Lady.”
Just days after that win, another Mega Millions jackpot of $60 million was hit by a player in Ohio.
For Powerball, the most recent grand prize was won by a ticket holder in Arkansas.
