The $80 million prize was shared between two winning tickets, one of which was purchased in Quebec.
MONTRÉAL, Dec. 4, 2024 – Two winning tickets split the $80 million Lotto Max jackpot; one of these tickets was sold in Quebec. Each winning ticket holder receives $40 million. Additionally, a single Maxmillions prize of $1,000,000 was claimed.
“This marks the second time a Lotto Max jackpot of this magnitude has been awarded. The first $80 million jackpot was also partially won in Quebec in September. We are delighted to see another win here. What fantastic news ahead of the holidays!” said Isabelle Jean, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Lottery Games at Loto-Québec.
The next Lotto Max draw is scheduled for Friday, December 6th, with an estimated jackpot of $33 million.
