LOS ANGELES, July 2, 2025 — Blockdaemon, the foremost U.S.-based institutional-grade crypto infrastructure provider, announced today the designation of Alex Zinder as their Chief Product Officer (CPO). In this capacity, Zinder will take charge of overall product development, refine the product strategy, enhance execution efficiency, and improve Blockdaemon’s platform offerings, which encompass staking, DeFi, MPC wallets and vaults, nodes, and APIs.
With more than two decades of experience spanning finance and emerging technology, Zinder has a proven history of scaling international teams and delivering innovative products that influence industries. His most recent role was Chief Product Officer at the Layer-2 blockchain network Reya Labs. Before Reya, Zinder directed product strategy and enterprise security initiatives for digital assets at Ledger, which deepened his comprehension of the infrastructure and software safeguarding the crypto economy. Earlier in his career, he spent over ten years at Nasdaq in various technology leadership positions across trading platforms, market data systems, and emerging technologies, gaining a distinctive perspective on global financial markets and institutional-scale engineering.
His appointment follows a period of rapid growth for Blockdaemon, highlighted by the launch of Earn Stack earlier this month and the acquisition of DeFi API firm expand.network in March 2025. With $110 billion in digital assets secured for over 400 institutional clients, Blockdaemon is strengthening its product leadership to address the accelerating demand from institutions.
“We are entering a phase where the infrastructure decisions made today will determine the next decade of web3. Alex possesses a track record of building with such a long-term vision,” stated Konstantin Richter, CEO and Founder of Blockdaemon. “His joining us signifies our intention to lead the way, not simply follow, regarding what institutional blockchain platforms can deliver.”
“I have dedicated most of my career to developing software solutions at the forefront of innovation. One of the most crucial lessons I’ve learned is that achieving institutional-scale impact is impossible without the correct tools. With vision, conviction, and exceptional execution, Konstantin and the Blockdaemon team have helped advance distributed finance to a turning point where technical maturity meets regulatory clarity. I am both honored and eager to join this team as we pursue the next vital chapters of that foundational vision and position Blockdaemon for sustained, long-term expansion,” commented Alex Zinder, Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Blockdaemon.
