BEIJING, March 28, 2025 — The opening ceremony and Global Technology Commercialization Eco-Partnership Conference for the 2025 ZGC International Technology Trade Fair began at the Zhongguancun Exhibition and Transfer Center on the afternoon of March 27.

Under the theme of “New Quality Productive Forces Empowered by Technology Trade,” the opening ceremony welcomed prominent scientists from around the globe, including Nobel laureates, members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Also in attendance were distinguished guests from international organizations, universities, new research institutions, technology transfer agencies, and tech companies. Attendees engaged in discussions about the opportunities and challenges presented by the evolving landscape of global technology transfer, and collectively envisioned a new era of international technology integration.

The opening ceremony featured the signing of new collaborative agreements and the unveiling of new achievements, highlighting the dynamism of the global technology trade ecosystem. The event included the release of the List of 100 New Technologies and Products, the List of 100 Innovative International Technology Transaction Projects, and the Beijing Smart Service Platform for the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements. Furthermore, cooperation agreements were signed for 11 project groups, focusing on areas such as technology trade and ecosystem cooperation, covering cutting-edge fields of science and technology like healthcare, AI, and new materials.

The 2025 ZGC International Technology Trade Fair will host more than 20 matchmaking events based on the “1+10+X” framework in Beijing from March 27 to 31. It aims to serve as a premier technology trade platform with the goal of “Buy Globally, Sell Globally.”
