At Çelebi Aviation, we have always prioritized transparency, ethical conduct, and strict adherence to the law. For more than 65 years, we have been providing ground handling and cargo warehouse services in Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Tanzania, and Türkiye, across 70 airports with a workforce of approximately 16,000.

Currently, Çelebi Aviation is primarily owned (65%) by international institutional investors from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Western Europe. Actera Partners II L.P., a fund registered in Jersey, possesses a 50% share in Çelebi Havacılık Holding A.Ş., Alpha Airport Services B.V., an entity registered in the Netherlands, holds 15%, and the Çelebioğlu family owns the remaining 35%.

Recently, we were informed by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) of India about the operational permits of certain subsidiaries. Due to concerns regarding national security, and in accordance with Indian regulations, our ground handling and cargo warehouse operations have been suspended at the affected airports. We are closely following the situation and cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities, including the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) and BCAS, while complying with all relevant regulations. We want to emphasize that all our operations have always been carried out in strict accordance with the applicable legal requirements. We hold valid licenses and fully comply with relevant security regulations in every country where we operate. Additionally, we want to emphasize that we have never previously received any warnings or penalties related to issues of national security.

As a global organization, we maintain full compliance with local regulations and international standards in all countries where we conduct business. All of our operations in India have also been performed in complete adherence to ethical standards. We are managing the process carefully and within the legal framework, in close collaboration with the relevant local authorities. To date, all of our operations have been conducted in full regulatory compliance.

During this time, we are undertaking all necessary actions to safeguard the rights of our employees, ensure stable working conditions, and mitigate any potential impact of these developments on our staff.
