DUBAI, UAE, Dec. 23, 2024 — The Chery TIGGO 9 launched simultaneously in the UAE and Kuwait on December 19th. The launch event included Ms. Ou Boqian, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate in Dubai; Mr. Wang Xiaojia, Commercial Counsellor; and Mr. Zhang Guibing, General Manager of Chery International. The TIGGO 9 boasts a new family design, its front end incorporating biomimetic principles emphasizing strength and safety. Its body proportions adhere to the golden ratio for aesthetic harmony. Prioritizing safety, and adhering to a “Safety is Luxury” philosophy, it achieves global five-star safety ratings and includes L2+ ADAS for enhanced driver safety. Smart features include APA (Automatic Parking Assist), a large HD screen, and high-performance processors, establishing a new standard for technologically advanced luxury. Luxury amenities such as a wide body, 10-point massage seats, a “One-Touch Recline” function, and a Sony audio system elevate passenger comfort. Powertrain options include a PHEV version pairing a 1.5T hybrid engine with a three-speed DHT gearbox, delivering strong performance and up to 44.5% thermal efficiency. The ICE version features a 2.0TGDI engine and an 8AT transmission for exceptional performance.
