
ROUYN-NORANDA, QC, June 19, 2025 – Comet Lithium Corporation (TSXV: CLIC) (FSE: 8QY) (“Comet Lithium” or the “Corporation”) has reported the outcomes of its annual and special meeting of shareholders conducted earlier today (the “Meeting”). During the Meeting, Comet Lithium’s shareholders voted to appoint Vincent Metcalfe, Sylvain Champagne, Jordan William Potts, Paul Blatter, Jamie Flegg, S. Mitchel Wasel and Kyle Frank as directors of Comet Lithium. Subsequent to the Meeting, Comet Lithium’s Board of Directors reinstated Vincent Metcalfe as President and Chief Executive Officer of Comet Lithium and named Sylvain Champagne as Chief Financial Officer of Comet Lithium.
Furthermore, at the Meeting, Comet Lithium’s shareholders endorsed resolutions (i) designating Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, as the company’s auditor, and (ii) sanctioning the existing omnibus equity compensation plan of Comet Lithium (referred to as the “Plan”). The Plan sets limits on common shares available for issuance: (i) 10% of the Corporation’s outstanding common shares for options at any given time, contingent on obtaining disinterested shareholder approval as mandated by TSX Venture Exchange policies, and (ii) 1,190,738 common shares for other non-option awards under the Plan.
