Envision’s Full-Scale Blade Testing Facility in Jiangyin

IECRE is an IEC system assessing conformity to international standards for renewable energy equipment and services. It aims to implement uniform, high-quality global standards, create a shared certification framework, and encourage worldwide acceptance of certifications – “One Certification, Global Acceptance”. Alistair Mackinnon, Chair of IECRE, oversaw the certification at Envision’s Jiangyin facility, leading the audit team in a thorough on-site evaluation. The team observed blade testing, verifying equipment, procedures, records, and reports. Achieving IECRE approval with zero non-conformities reflects Envision Energy’s dedication to providing global partners with the assurance needed to implement its technology worldwide.

Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology, is dedicated to advancing wind power technology. Since starting construction of the blade testing rig in August 2018 and completing the main structure in June 2019, Envision Energy has enhanced its quality management alongside infrastructure. The Jiangyin facility now supports testing of blades up to 120 meters, providing industry-leading control and data precision with its electric loading equipment. Envision Energy is establishing a new global benchmark for wind turbine reliability.
