This Pure-HiFi DAP, featuring high-performance audio and a complete Ultrasuede® exterior, is designed for today’s audiophiles who demand top-tier music quality and sophisticated aesthetics. Its compact size belies its powerful capabilities, earning it the nickname “pocket cannon.”
The R3Pro II’s audio quality is driven by dual CS43198 DAC chips and four OPA1622 headphone amplifiers, which produce rich dynamics, exceptional clarity, and minimal distortion. It includes both a 3.5mm stereo phone-out and a 4.4mm balanced output, the latter supporting an output of up to 480mW. This allows the R3Pro II to capably power most IEMs and headphones, including balanced armature, dynamic, planar, and hybrid-driver models.
As a Pure-HiFi DAP, the R3Pro II utilizes HiByOS, HiBy’s own Linux-based audio system, which is specifically tuned for high-fidelity audio reproduction. The R3Pro II Player handles DSD256, PCM 384kHz/32bit, and MQA 8X formats. HiBy’s distinctive MSEB tuning panel provides users with versatile sound customization options. The device also natively supports streaming services like TIDAL and Qobuz, WiFi music transfer, custom radio, and OTA updates.
The R3ProII offers a range of connectivity options, including Line-out, USB DAC, S/PDIF out, Bluetooth 5.1, AirPlay, DLNA, and HiByLink, making it a versatile music source for any audio setup. Its 4000mAh battery delivers up to 21 hours of playtime and over 900 hours of standby time. Storage can be expanded to a maximum of 2TB using a Micro SD card.
Beyond its impressive functionality, the R3Pro II stands out with its premium Ultrasuede® back panel. This high-performance material, crafted from microfiber, offers a suede-like texture. Currently, this feature is standard across all four color options: Green, Orange, Black, Silver.
