TRIANGLE, Va., May 1, 2025 — For 77 years, the Marine Toys for Tots Program has served as a leading children’s charity during the Christmas season, but its impact extends throughout the year, benefiting children and families nationwide. Recognizing that needs exist beyond the holidays, Toys for Tots has broadened its scope to provide continuous assistance to disadvantaged children whenever they require it. One such initiative is the Toys for Tots’ Disaster Response and Recovery Program, which operates year-round.

Following the delivery of essential supplies, the Toys for Tots Disaster Response and Recovery Program offers emotional support and comfort to children whose families have lost everything due to natural disasters. This support comes in the form of toys, books, and other gifts, helping to transform despair into hope.

The CW Network will air Lifelines of Hope tonight at 9:00pm, featuring a special segment on Toys for Tots’ provision of emotional relief and comfort to families and children affected by the California wildfires and Hurricane Helene.

Dean Cain, Laura McKenzie, Elizabeth Stanton, and Montel Williams will host this inspirational program, which highlights the importance of courage, generosity, and unity in times of global crisis.

Throughout Lifelines of Hope, viewers will hear from Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Garner, Billie Eilish, Dolly Parton, Billy Crystal, Gary Sinise, Bob Odenkirk, Luke Combs, and Eric Church, as they share personal stories of how they have supported communities in times of need.

While the Holiday Program is central to Toys for Tots’ mission, its year-round initiatives demonstrate an ongoing commitment to ensuring that no child is overlooked. Toys for Tots supports children of families affected by natural disasters and those facing financial difficulties, as well as educational programs, to ensure every child feels valued and cared for.

LtGen Jim Laster, President & CEO of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, stated, “The joy on a child’s face when they receive an unexpected gift is priceless. We are proud to be a year-round force for good, ensuring that children experience moments of happiness and encouragement that inspire them to dream big, regardless of their circumstances.”
