During online play, a short pause to eat can result in ejection from a game, mission failure, or lost progress. Addressing a long-standing issue gamers often tackle with makeshift fixes, McDonald’s Türkiye presents “Archie,” a tool that lets players savor their food and continue gaming at the same time. The concept was realized by TBWAIstanbul, a top-tier agency known for its prize-winning campaigns that influence advertising and marketing, creating a unique brand interaction.
Included with the Pro Gamer Menu, Archie boasts a pliable design modeled after the brand’s famous Golden Arches. It connects the controller’s thumbsticks, enabling the in-game avatar to keep moving while the player is temporarily absent (AFK). Available for a limited period only via delivery, the Pro Gamer Menu comes with a Big Mac®, medium fries, a medium Coca-Cola, and an 8-piece serving of onion rings.
