TOKYO, Nov. 27, 2024 — The acclaimed ‘Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’ concluded its tour with a breathtaking performance at Tokyo Opera City. Presented by the Saudi Music Commission, a division of the Ministry of Culture, and under the patronage of Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Culture, the event showcased exceptional musical talent and cross-cultural collaboration.

The concert featured the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir performing alongside Japan’s esteemed Gagaku Orchestra (Imperial Court Music) and the Orchestra Academy of Tokyo College of Music. Renowned Japanese guitarist HOTEI gave a captivating guest performance.

The Tokyo concert, the fifth and first in the Far East, marked a significant milestone for the ‘Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’ tour, which previously captivated audiences in Paris, Mexico City, New York City, and London. The program masterfully blended traditional Saudi and classical Japanese music, highlighting the artistic richness of both nations and deeply moving attendees.
