CHAMBERSBURG, Pa., Feb. 5, 2026 — The Franklin County Visitors Bureau is pleased to reveal the victorious performers from the IceFest A Cappella & Unplugged Open Mic. Over twelve artists performed at the inaugural open mic event of 2026. Seven acts will move forward to Round 1, scheduled for Friday, June 19 at the Capitol Theatre: Josh Taylor & Chris Strupp, Muneath Ham, Suzanna Painter, Alivia Martz, Leslie Metz, Noah Mellot, and Rhema Berea. The inaugural A Cappella & Unplugged Open Mic occurred during the Annual IceFest in downtown Chambersburg.

The following A Cappella & Unplugged Open Mic is scheduled for February 27 at Trigger’s Table and Taproom in Waynesboro at 6:30 PM. Further open mic events will run through May. Victors from each session will vie for a $500 top prize and a chance to perform for thousands on July 18, preceding 1864: Ransoming, Burning & Rebirth of Chambersburg. The winner will be determined by audience members via physical ballots and a text-message voting system during the competition.

Annually, area talent takes center stage during the open mics, semifinals, and finals. Ranging from original works to remarkable renditions of well-known pieces, A Cappella & Unplugged highlights the inventiveness, artistry, and emotional depth of hometown entertainers.
