BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 21, 2024 — TAILG, a clean energy solutions provider in the electric mobility sector, participated in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan. The company showcased its environmentally friendly, low-carbon solutions and promoted practical South-South cooperation.

At the UN Climate Change Conference(COP29), TAILG represented the industry in showing future solutions for low-carbon emissions.

COP29 prioritized climate financing, strengthening carbon reduction targets, and improving global carbon market mechanisms. Developing nations expressed significant interest in and demand for new energy transportation solutions from China.

TAILG President Yao Li addressed the High-level Forum on South-South Cooperation on Climate Change. He discussed the electric vehicle industry’s contribution to low-carbon mobility and highlighted the potential of two-wheeled electric vehicles in renewable energy and solar power.

“As a leading global manufacturer of long-range electric two-wheelers, TAILG is committed to actively participating in the Africa Solar Belt program within the framework of South-South cooperation. We aim to be a driving force, a key player, an innovator, and a leader in global low-carbon mobility,” stated Yao Li, President of TAILG Group, who was a speaker at the High-Level Forum on South-South Cooperation. He also emphasized TAILG’s ongoing commitment to assisting developing nations in addressing climate change through product donations, technical support, and knowledge sharing.

TAILG, with 21 years of experience in e-mobility, utilizes advanced research and development centers and a CNAS-accredited laboratory to foster innovation in energy efficiency, new energy batteries, and charging and swapping technologies. The company holds over 2,000 patents, widely implemented in low- and middle-income countries globally.

Since 2017, as a UN e-mobility partner, TAILG has undertaken e-mobility projects in Kenya, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and other nations.

With the support of China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Belt and Road Center, TAILG has modernized the Philippine postal service’s fleet with electric vehicles and advanced low-carbon transportation in Thailand, facilitating green transformations in sectors like food delivery and passenger transportation. In Africa, the TK90 electric motorcycle, developed jointly with Ghana’s KOFA, reduces operational expenses by 30% thanks to its interchangeable lithium battery pack.

TAILG President Yao Li noted that the group’s Global E-Mobility Programme Research Institute is advancing the integration of photovoltaic systems and electric vehicles to provide cleaner, more sustainable energy for green transportation and household storage in local communities.

The e-mobility sector, represented by TAILG, is actively expanding its global reach, embracing climate action and shaping a promising future for electric transportation worldwide.
