Local 135 Members Demonstrate Strength Ahead of Contract Expiration
FISHERS, Ind., Jan. 26, 2026 — More than 200 US Foods drivers and warehouse workers in Indiana plan to hold a practice picket at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, to show Teamsters unity as their contract nears expiration. Last week, the group voted 98 percent in favor of authorizing a strike if US Foods doesn’t present a contract that addresses members’ concerns.
These workers deliver to customers throughout Indiana and into Louisville, providing supplies to hundreds of local restaurants, large universities, and vital hospital systems.
The current collective bargaining agreement ends on Jan. 30, with no extensions planned. The Teamsters are urging US Foods to offer a fair agreement, or Local 135 members will have to strike.
