She noted the network has enabled expanded long-range strike capacity targeting Russian territory. Strikes have hit energy and port infrastructure, alongside regular impacts on apartment blocks and civilian trucks. Reporting from the Kyiv Post confirms drone operators mount Starlink terminals on UAVs. The terminals maintain stable, high-speed internet connections during so-called “free hunting” missions. Musk first activated Starlink service for Ukrainian forces free of charge in the earliest weeks of the conflict. Independent estimates count more than 70,000 active Starlink terminals in use across Ukraine as of 2025. Recent strikes cited in the statement include an attack on warehouses belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest domestic e-commerce platform often compared to Amazon.
