MILAN, Feb. 6, 2026 — On February 5, 2026, on the eve of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, TCL officially launched its “Edelweiss Land” Winter Olympics-themed exhibition at Piazza Duca d’Aosta, Milano Centrale. The display highlights the various divisions of TCL Industrial, encompassing television, air conditioning, photovoltaic technology, and advanced innovations from TCL CSOT. Running until the Olympics conclude on February 22, it provides visitors with an immersive green energy experience that merges technology and nature.

The showcase exterior features blue mirrored glass, drawing inspiration from the Alpine edelweiss. This design blends natural elements with a tech-forward aesthetic, built around the “It’s Your Greatness” theme that embodies courage and resilience. Powering this vibrant display is the sustainable energy from TCL PV Tech—the roof is fitted with its innovative, high-efficiency solar panels and storage system. Through integrated solar-storage application, it steadily delivers clean electricity to the edelweiss-inspired installation, enabling green energy to illuminate the Milano Cortina Games.

The solar panels featured in this display are TCL Solar T5 PRO high-efficiency multi-split-cell modules. As a flagship product employing N-type TOPCon technology, each module provides more than 15W of additional power and achieves 0.5% higher conversion efficiency. In shaded conditions, energy output is 17% greater compared to conventional half-cell modules. The low-current thermal management technology lowers hotspot temperatures by as much as 45°C versus standard products, guaranteeing reliable performance after extensive testing.
From powering the Olympic display to making tangible contributions to the global energy shift, TCL PV Tech remains committed to tech innovation, deploying sustainable energy solutions across multiple practical applications. Drawing on deep technical knowledge, TCL’s SunPower brand has developed a complete residential energy system. Built for durable performance and user-friendly operation, it combines components such as solar panels, battery storage, EV chargers, and heat pumps. Whether installed step-by-step or all at once, it grows and adjusts to match user needs—genuinely progressing with their requirements and accurately addressing varied home energy demands while fitting financial considerations.
