Oracle has recently dealt with two separate data security incidents. The initial incident occurred around February 20, 2025, when Oracle Health detected a security compromise within its systems. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized party had gained access to the company’s servers on or after January 22, 2025, and copied patient information to an unknown offsite location.
The second incident involved Oracle Cloud servers. In this instance, a hacker known as rose87168 posted on a cybercrime forum, offering data from 6 million Oracle Cloud clients. Although Oracle has disputed this breach, evidence suggests it may have occurred.
